Are there any new combinations of words that haven’t already been created? Are there any new insights to derive from these worlds of words? There are so many it seems somehow superfluous to add more. It makes me wonder if there is anything more to add to the dialogue, if there are any new ideas or thoughts left. There are just so many people talking, writing, blogging, singing, screaming, texting, skyping… Talk is cheap and words have degraded with the subject matter. So then – who am I to add more?

It just seems to me that there are so many words spoken but nothing is ever said. It is difficult to find substance in it all.Talking for the sake of talking, words for the sake of words. Relentless chatter because we seem to be so afraid of silence. It makes words lose all meaning. Words like ‘love’ have become part of our common language in everyday life. But if we say we love everything, do we really love anything?

But maybe there is still something unique in experience, in my experience and in yours, in how we interact with the plethora of syntax and meaning. Maybe there is still something to be said, words still to be written.
